The Client: True Classic
True Classic is a nine-figure DTC apparel brand running 200 to 800 ads simultaneously across Meta and other channels, spanning U.S. and international markets. The scale and complexity of their operation is rare.
RealEyes Digital has been working with True Classic since November 2025. When we took over full day-to-day account management in March 2026, we stepped into an account already powered by Triple Whale’s Moby Media Buyer, one of the most data-rich, complex DTC media buying programs in operation.
At that point, the True Classic team had been running Moby autonomously on 1-2 campaigns, getting a feel for the platform before scaling its role. What followed is a story of how the right AI infrastructure, built by Triple Whale and deployed through Moby, paired with the right agency strategy, can hold momentum through a major transition and dramatically expand what’s possible.
The Challenge: Data-Rich, Insights-Poor
True Classic’s account exposes every weakness in a media buying operation. Hundreds of ads, multiple geographies, different attribution settings by region, and a sales calendar that swings daily budgets by 25% month over month.
The hardest problem wasn’t the data. It was the human element of retraining and prompting the system with the right set of instructions to operate correctly and efficiently.
“When we took over the existing instructions, we spent time understanding how the system was operating, watching how configurations shaped the actions it would take. Once we had our heads wrapped around it, we started iterating. At this point, I think we’re on version 20. That’s the human element here: digging deep enough to do the prompt engineering that guides the system, with all its data, toward the business KPIs we actually need it to hit.”
— Ashley Broas, Senior Account Manager, RealEyes Digital
When we took over, the challenge compounded. Every agency transition typically means weeks of manual work: pulling old campaigns, rebuilding context, decoding what the prior team had configured and why. At True Classic’s scale, that ramp-up is operational debt the business can’t afford.
We needed a smarter way in.
The Solution: Triple Whale’s Moby Media Buyer as a Co-Pilot
True Classic adopted Triple Whale’s Moby Media Buyer, a foundation that allowed us to hit the ground running. What Triple Whale built in Moby wasn’t just another AI tool bolted onto a dashboard. It was a purpose-built media buying system: task-oriented, schedule-driven, and designed around how high-performance teams actually structure their SOPs, not rigid conditional rules that break under pressure.
For RealEyes, that architecture was the on-ramp we needed.
“It can really fill a gap during agency transitions. The data was all there in Triple Whale and Moby. We could easily pull last year’s Memorial Day campaign and immediately see what we ran and what the promo was. That whole process is so much more streamlined with Moby.”
— Jack Kolodge, Growth Marketing Manager, RealEyes Digital
But the speed of onboarding wasn’t what kept us invested. It was the depth of insight Moby delivered once we were inside the account.
“It’s like having a CMO, CEO, business strategist, and creative strategist all at your fingertips. Moby is a 300- or 400-level course, whereas a lot of other AIs are still at 101 level.”
— Jack Kolodge, Growth Marketing Manager, RealEyes Digital
That depth is a direct reflection of what Triple Whale built. Moby doesn’t just surface numbers, it connects business context, performance data, and creative signals into a unified layer of insight that most platforms still can’t match.
How RealEyes Put AI Media Buying to Work
Rebuilding International Attribution in an Afternoon
True Classic’s international portfolio had defaulted to first-click attribution. Ashley Broas, Senior Account Manager at RealEyes, suspected it wasn’t aligned with actual business performance, but validating that hypothesis the old way would have taken weeks of lift testing.
That’s where Triple Whale’s data infrastructure proved its worth. Instead of manual lift tests, Ashley prompted Moby to pull 60 days of daily international campaign data, compare every attribution setting against country-level MRR, and identify which one tracked closest. The answer was triple attribution. Within minutes, Moby had also surfaced ad sets that were currently off but performing above average under the new model, generated turn-back-on recommendations, and produced fresh scaling and budget-reduction plans for both acquisition and retention campaigns.
We reset the entire international portfolio that afternoon. That kind of speed simply wouldn’t exist without the data foundation Triple Whale had already built.
Automating Daily and Monthly Budget Pacing
Triple Whale’s Moby replaced one of the most time-consuming manual workflows in the account. True Classic’s finance team used to hand-calculate daily budget targets and feed them to media buyers. Moby now does this work in real time: deriving daily budgets from monthly revenue goals, factoring in known sales events like Memorial Day and weekend lift, adjusting ad sets based on rolling performance, and flagging whenever the account drifts more than 10% off pace.
“What used to take me so long to split out my base daily and track it against previous sales by hand, now I just ask Moby.”
— Ashley Broas, Senior Account Manager, RealEyes Digital
Once the U.S. system was dialed in, onboarding the international portfolio took roughly two hours. The speed was only possible because Triple Whale’s underlying data architecture was already unified across both portfolios.
Moving From Co-Pilot to Autopilot: 36% Higher ROAS in One Week
One of the things Triple Whale built into Moby that we genuinely appreciated was the graduated trust model. They started Moby in co-pilot mode across the entire account: monitoring performance, surfacing insights, identifying risks and wasted spend, and recommending actions, while still requiring human approval for every decision. After building confidence in the system’s logic, True Classic moved a single campaign, roughly 10% of total spend, into autopilot.
Within one week, that campaign delivered 36% higher ROAS than the manually managed campaigns.
“We put a campaign in autopilot, and within a week, the ROAS was 36% higher than the manual campaigns. That gave us a lot of confidence.”
— Bryan Cano, Former Head of Marketing and Advisor, True Classic
Surfacing Problems Nobody Was Looking For
This is where Triple Whale’s platform genuinely goes beyond what most tools offer. Ashley had a hunch international tracking was off. She asked Moby to compare country-level NCROAS against business-level MRR across markets. Moby flagged specific countries with significant variance, giving us the data to bring directly to True Classic’s pixel and server-side tracking vendor.
We also used Moby to address a creative strategy concern: with recent ads featuring younger men, the team worried True Classic was drifting from its core 35-44 demographic. Moby ran full age and gender breakouts across U.S. and international accounts, calculated NCROAS and ROAS by cohort, and confirmed the core demographic was still receiving the bulk of spend, while younger conversions were additive, not cannibalistic. Problems like these used to require external tools, full lift tests, or weeks of manual analysis. Triple Whale built a platform where they now take minutes.
The Results
The transition that should have stalled the account for a quarter held its momentum, and then grew it.
- $3M+ in monthly ad spend managed across U.S. and international portfolios through Moby Media Buyer
- 200 to 800 ads running simultaneously across channels
- 36% higher ROAS on autopilot campaigns vs. manually managed campaigns
- Monthly budget planning that used to take days now runs in a single Moby session
- Attribution reset, creative analysis, demographic studies, and tracking diagnostics now run inside one platform
“With Moby 2, you’re able to solve problems you would have just avoided before, or accepted as a blind spot. That’s not an excuse anymore.”
— Ashley Broas, Senior Account Manager, RealEyes Digital
